One of the following methods can be used to determine what product version is installed.
Method 1: Help – About
1) Start the application (or start the management console) for the application
2) Click on the “Help” Menu
3) Click on the “About” menu option
4) The version information should appear on the dialog box that is displayed
Method 2: Windows Control Panel
Windows Control Panel can be used to determine the version.
Windows XP – Windows 2003 Control Panel
1) Click on the “Start” button
2) Click on “Settings”
3) Click on “Control Panel”
4) Double-click on “Add or Remove Programs”
5) Search for the application name in the currently installed program list
6) Click on the application name to select it. The version information should appear with the name

Windows Vista – Windows 2008 Control Panel
1) Click on the “Windows” button
2) Click on “Control Panel”
3) Double-click on “Programs and Features”
4) Search for the application name in the currently installed program list
5) Click on the application name to select it. The version information should appear with the name or at the bottom of the “Programs and Features” window
